중간에 시간이 비어 도서관에 왔다.

다음 일정을 기다리며 곧 떠날 여행책 세 권을 꺼내 뒤적였다.

10년도 전에 출간된 론리플랫닛을 비롯한 가이드 북이었다.

오랜만이었다.

처음 외국으로 여행을 떠날 때는 가이드북을 사서 샅샅이 봤었는데,

이제는 블로그와 유튜브가 그 자리를 대체해버렸다.

이미 웹을 참고해 여행계획을 짜며 그곳에 대해 많이 알고 있다고 생각했는데, 책으로 보는 것은 새로웠다.

웹은 비슷비슷한 사람들이 비슷비슷한 최근 정보를 공유하는데,

책은 좀 더 새로운 정보들을 알려주었다.

여행하기 전에 보면 좋은 책과 영화,

유명하지 않지만 가보면 좋을 사원,

그곳의 역사와 자연환경.

책을 읽으며 이 여행이 좀 더 풍성해졌다.

도서관에 오길 참 잘했다.

I came to the library because I had time in the middle.

Waiting for my next schedule, I pulled out three travel books and rummaged.

It was a guidebook, including Lonely Planet, which was published 10 years ago.

It's been a long time.

When I first traveled abroad, I bought a guidebook and read it.

But blogs and YouTube have now replaced the position.

I thought I already knew a lot about it by referring to the Web,

but reading a book was new.

The Web has similar information.

But book gave me more new information.

Books and movies I want to see before traveling,

It's not famous, but it's a good temple to go

its history and natural environment

Reading the book made this trip richer.

It was very good of I to come to the library.
