통증

여기가 아파 진료실 앞에 기다리는데

저기가 또 아프다.

시간이 지나면 낫는다던데,

어떤 통증은 더 지독해진다.

가만히 아픈 곳들을 헤아려보니

아픔은 그저 당위였다.

I'm sick here, waiting in front of the doctor's office,

But it hurts other places, too.

I knew that with time the pain would heal.

But some pain gets worse.

I counted the pain.

It was fate to be sick.
